Cégep André-Laurendeau to host 2026 CCAA Golf National Championship

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is proud to announce that Cégep André-Laurendeau will host the 2026 CCAA Golf National Championship. The event will take place October 12-16, 2026, at Blainvillier Golf Club in Blainville, Quebec. This marks the second time Blainvillier will welcome the nation’s top collegiate golfers to its renowned courses. The private club, located just north of Montréal, features two exceptional 18-hole courses – the Royal and the Heritage – designed by architect Graham Cooke. Known for hosting multiple provincial and national competitions, Blainvillier provides a challenging and scenic stage for student-athletes from across the country. “We are thrilled once again to bring the CCAA Golf National Championship to Blainvillier,” said Claude Morin, Athletic Director at Cégep André-Laurendeau. “Our entire community, alongside the outstanding team at Blainvillier, is committed to delivering a memorable and first-class experience for all participants and coaches.” The Championship will feature the best collegiate golfers in Canada, competing for both team and individual national titles. The tournament will open with an official practice round on October 12, followed by four days of competition. The CCAA Awards Banquet will be held at Blainvillier Golf Club on opening day. “We are excited to see the CCAA Golf National Championship return to Québec,” said Bob Murray, CCAA Golf Convenor. “Blainvillier’s facilities, combined with André-Laurendeau’s experience and commitment, will create an excellent environment for high-level competition and a celebration of collegiate golf in Canada.” The 2025 CCAA National Championship are taking place this week in Medicine Hat, AB.

Cégep André-Laurendeau, home of the Boomerang and a proud member of the RSEQ, will serve as the host institution. With a strong athletic tradition that includes two CCAA national golf titles and 10 RSEQ provincial championships, the college has built a reputation for excellence both academically and athletically.
