Day Two at the CCAA Golf Championships

The second round of the 2025 PING CCAA National Golf Championships wrapped up today at Desert Blume Golf Course in Medicine Hat. After a windy start of the day, the golfers got the enjoy the sun and some great conditions for golf throughout the day.
In the Men’s Team standings, Cégep Champlain St. Lawrence climbed into first place at even par, followed closely by Humber Polytechnic (+7). SAIT, the first-round leader, dropped to third at +10, while Medicine Hat College and St. Clair College are tied for fourth at +28. Cégep André-Laurendeau follows in sixth at +36, with Durham College (+54), NAIT (+56), and Northwestern Polytechnic (+71) rounding out the leaderboard.
On the Women’s Team side, OCAA 1 continues to lead at +19, followed by RSEQ (+24) and OCAA 2 (+31). ACAC 1 sits fourth, followed by ACAC 2 and ACAC 3.
In the Men’s Individual competition, Thomas Grenier (St. Lawrence) holds the lead at -7 (R1 69, R2 68), just one stroke ahead of Jadan Patel (SAIT) at -6 (70,68). Wyatt Bishop (Medicine Hat College) surged into third place at -5 (72,67) after a strong second round. The Medicine Hat local and Desert Blume course record holder used his home-course advantage to climb the leaderboard. Jack Gratrix (Humber) and William Bellavance (St. Lawrence) are tied for fourth at -1 (143).
In the Women’s Individual standings, Sofia DeZordo (St. Lawrence) and Susan Chen (Humber) remain tied for first at +7 (151). Jordan Newlands (Humber) sits third at +12 (156), followed by Charlotte Boudreau (André-Laurendeau) at +15 (159) and Alexandra Lemay (St. Lawrence) at +18 (162).
Round 3 begins tomorrow at Desert Blume Golf Course with a promising sunny and warm day for the golfers.
