2016 CCAA Women’s Golf All-Canadians
The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association is proud to announce the 2016 CCAA Women’s Golf All-Canadians.
The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2016 PING CCAA Golf National Championships, hosted by Holland College in Charlottetown, PEI.

In her first season with the Cascades, Park was victorious at the UFV, Douglas and VIU Invitationals en route to the overall women’s individual championship in the PACWEST. The UFV women were victorious in team play at all four PACWEST events. The talented Park has brought a new spark of energy to the UFV program. |
Dirksen, now a two-time CCAA All-Canadian, earned an individual silver medal in the PACWEST with four Top 4 finishes. The Cascades captain was a key contributor to the women’s squad which won all four PACWEST tournaments. Dirksen’s skill, coupled with her tenacity on the course, make her one of the fiercest competitors in the CCAA. |

In her first year with the Rattlers, Martin was victorious at the South and North Regionals as well as the ACAC Championships. She also led the Rattlers to team titles at all three ACAC events. A competitor in every sense of the word, Martin’s preparation and attention to detail is second to none. |
Blackmer captured individual bronze at the ACAC Championships and the fifth-year veteran was a major piece to Medicine Hat’s gold-medal run. She is an outstanding ambassador for the Rattlers program and has been a leader both on and off the course. Blackmer has been instrumental in the growth of the program at Medicine Hat. |

Weavers earned her second straight individual gold medal at the OCAA Championships. The 2014 CCAA National Champion is now a three-time CCAA All-Canadian. She is a model student-athlete, having twice earned CCAA Scholar Athlete and CCAA Academic All-Canadian awards. Weavers’ friendly demeanor with fellow competitors hides the fierce competitive fire she has on the golf course. |
Wallwin captured individual silver and led the Grizzlies to gold in the team event at the OCAA Championships. She was also victorious at her home team’s Georgian Invitational tournament. Wallwin is supportive of her teammates and fellow competitors alike and demonstrates what is great about the game of golf with her competitive drive and her dedication to the sport. |

Ouellete took home an individual silver medal in the RSEQ overall standings. The now three-time CCAA All-Canadian was victorious in the second RSEQ tournament. The consistent Ouellette finished in the Top 4 in each round of provincial play. In addition, she placed fifth at both the Future Pros’ Championship and the NIVO Women’s Player’s Cup. |
Morissette captured individual bronze in the RSEQ overall standings. She fired a 74 on her first day of competition at the final RSEQ event. Morissette is an all-around athlete who also plays Women’s Hockey. She has a great work ethic and serves as a fantastic role model for her fellow student-athletes. |

Holmes-Tang is now a three-time CCAA All-Canadian after leading the Hurricanes to gold at the ACAA Championships. She also captured individual silver at provincials. Holmes-Tang is a strong student who focuses on academics; she has earned both CCAA Scholar Athlete and CCAA Academic All-Canadian honours. Holmes-Tang is a dual athlete at Holland, also competing in Curling. |
McEwen, now a two-time CCAA All-Canadian, captured both individual and team gold at the ACAA Championships. She has worked hard on her golf game and is definitely reaping the benefits. McEwen is an exceptional student-athlete with great focus and determination and has also earned CCAA Academic All-Canadian honours. |
