UNIVERSAL CODE OF CONDUCT
The CCAA, which is a Sport Canada funded organization, has integrated the Universal Code of Conduct for Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS) into its Organizational Policies and Procedures. The key principle of the UCCMS is its independent administration, free from conflict of interest.
The new document will be referred to as the CCAA Code of Conduct (CCC) which will replace the CCAA’s current Code of Ethics and Harassment policy and aligns process and procedures with updated Appeal process and On-Site Protest and Code of Ethics Committee. The new Code of Conduct takes into account all current conduct violations including maltreatment and prohibited behaviours that are included in the UCCMS.
