Les Dynamiques du Cégep Sainte-Foy captures Mixed Team Title at Brookvale

The 2025 CCAA Cross-Country Running National Championships, hosted by Holland College at the Brookvale Nordic Centre in Brookvale, Prince Edward Island, showcased the debut of the Mixed Team Championship — a new format combining the top male and female performances from each institution.
The Dynamiques du Cégep Sainte-Foy of the RSEQ were crowned 2025 CCAA Mixed Team National Champions, finishing with a combined team score of 50 points. The gold-medal team featured standout performances from Xavier St-Onge, Francis Bouffard, Antonin Savignac, Stéphania Gilbert, Camille Martel, and Camille Richard.
Earning team silver medals were the Élans du Cégep Garneay, who finished with a score of 50 points. Their strong roster included Elliot Bélanger, Élie-Anne Tremblay, Aurélie Claveau, Aurélie Paradis, and Robi Racine, whose balanced effort kept the race close throughout. The tie-breaker between first and second place was determined by the finish time of the last place scoring finisher from each of the tied teams.
The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings and Queens claimed team bronze, finishing with a score of 168. Their lineup included Japhet Kipkosgei, Julianna Chipiuk, Georgia Sawchuk, Andrew Leffers, Kammy Park, and Ryan Murei.
The mixed format created a unique and exciting team competition, emphasizing depth, balance, and collaboration between men’s and women’s squads. Fans at Brookvale Nordic Centre were treated to thrilling finishes and outstanding displays of teamwork from all competing schools.
Holland College, in partnership with CCAA, Sport Canada, Running Room, Jostens, and local sponsors, provided warm Maritime hospitality and a championship atmosphere to remember.
