Concordia University of Edmonton to Host 2026 CCAA Cross Country National Championships

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is proud to announce that the Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) will host the 2026 CCAA Cross Country Running National Championships on Saturday, November 14, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta. The championship races will be held at the Kinsmen Sports Centre and surrounding trails, utilizing the challenging, natural terrain of Edmonton’s spectacular River Valley. This venue offers competitors a unique national championship experience with stunning views of the city’s skyline, bridges, and the North Saskatchewan River.
Concordia University of Edmonton has a strong track record of successfully hosting high-caliber national events, including the 2019 CCAA Women’s Soccer National Championships and the 2018 CCAA Badminton National Championships. The 2026 CCAA Cross Country Running National Championships will bring together the country’s top collegiate men's and women's teams and individual runners. The competition will feature the Women's 6 KM race and the Men's 8 KM race. The 2025 CCAA Cross Country Running National Championship is being hosted by Holland College on November 8 2025 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
