The Tommies came out strong, taking the opening set 25–17 before narrowly edging the Hawks in a thrilling second set that went to extra points, 27–25. Humber responded in the third set with a 25–21 win, but St. Thomas regrouped and held off a late push to secure the match in the fourth set, 25–23.

Match 6: NAIT Ooks 3, Providence Pilots 0 The NAIT Ooks earned a straight-sets victory over the Providence Pilots during the CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship. The Ooks controlled the match from the start, taking the opening set 25–20 before building momentum with a convincing 25–16 win in the second. NAIT maintained its strong play in the third set, closing out the match with another 25–20 victory. Julien Phillips led the charge for the Ooks, recording nine kills and adding two service aces. Match 7: RDP Kings 3, VIU Mariners 0The Red Deer Kings earned a straight-sets victory over the Vancouver Island Mariners during the CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship. The Kings battled through two tightly contested opening sets, edging the Mariners 26–24 in both the first and second. Red Deer carried that momentum into the third set, closing out the match with a 25–20 win. Setter Evan Mah played a key role in the Kings’ offensive rhythm, tallying an impressive 41 assists. Match 8: COTR Avalanche 3, Titans de Limoilou 0The College of the Rockies Avalanche earned a straight-sets victory over the Titans de Limoilou during the CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship. Despite the scoreline, the match was a tight, point-for-point battle throughout much of the contest. The Avalanche opened with a 25–19 win in the first set and followed it with a 25–20 victory in the second before closing out the match in a dramatic third set, edging the Titans 26–24. Luke Margenau led the Avalanche offensively with nine kills. For the Titans, setter Jean-Simon Delorme helped direct the offence with 17 assists while adding a kill in the effort. |
