Vaso's Field

Vaso's Field (50 Conlin Rd, Oshawa, ON L1H 7K4), named after former Durham soccer coach Vaso Vujanovic, was converted into an artificial multi-sport facility in August 2018.

The conversion from natural grass to a FIFA-certified sports field will allow for more student events to take place on campus. The facility will include artificial infill turf by AstroTurf Inc., which will make Vaso’s Field the first in Canada to have the new product. The facility features eight change rooms, varsity team rooms, a press box with television broadcasting capabilities, a VIP viewing box and bleachers that will accommodate up to 500 fans. In addition, the current lighting system will be replaced with new energy efficient LED stadium lighting.

As stakeholders in the facility's redevleopment, Durham College department of athletics and recreation, Ontario Tech University, Durham College Students Inc. and the Ontario Tech Student Union is proud to host the CCAA National Championship at Vaso’s Field.
